• AQUATIC THERAPY
        Aquatic therapy has many advantages. Water supports the body,
reduces joint stress, and provides resistance and assistance to
movement. May of the benefits include:
        * Improved muscle strength and tone
        * Increased cardiovascular function

        * Decreased swelling
        * Increased circulation
        * Increased strength and endurance
        * Increased range of motion and flexibility

Aquatic therapy is especially effective for patients after surgery or injury
as it allows for earlier weight-bearing activities which lead to less pain
and a faster recovery.


  • VESTIBULAR REHAB/FALL PREVENTION
     Vestibular therapy can help
treat the symptoms of dizziness and  
imbalance.  It can help  prevent and  
decrease the risk for falls, fractures
and other injuries. First I will perform
a comprehensive evaluation and design
a customized rehab plan.  Components
of the vestibular program may include:.
* Balance training
* Vestibular exercises
* Therapeutic exercise
* Fall prevention
* Home safety
* Patient and family education


  • PAIN MANAGEMENT
        Millions suffer with pain. Many may feel they have nowhere to go for
help.  I help patients achieve adequate muscle flexibility and strength so
they can do the things they want and need to do and enjoy a higher quality
of life. I incorporate manual therapy and electrotherapeutic acupressure  
stimulation to assist in pain reduction.   I also educate patients in proper
posture, body mechanics and home exercise programs to ensure correct
muscle balance and decreased stress on joints.  Some of the conditions
treated are:
  * Back and leg pain
  * Neck pain
  * Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
  * Fibromyalgia/myofascial pain
  * Headaches

         The idea is simply to help an individual function better outside of the
gym. I design  exercise programs that are designed to make activities of
daily life easier,
So rather than just running you through a series of traditional free-weight
activities or a trip on the treadmill, I create tailor-made ways to build your
strength, coordination, balance and endurance,
Functional fitness emphasizes getting more of the body involved in a move,
with multiple muscle and joint activities that combine upper- and lower-
body movements,
